A Journey Through Drug Withdrawal

A personal medical biochemistry research experiment of abrupt discontinuation of a pharmacotherapy regimen design to control and the treat ASD, ADHD, and GAD.

Day 0

Due to severe financial restraints and the simultaneous loss of health insurance, I am unable to maintain the use of medications that I have been prescribed. Since I can’t afford to purchase medications any longer, I am forced to go cold turkey off my current regimen of medications.

Medications:

  • Buspirone HCL (Buspar)   60 mg/day
  • Methylin (Ritalin)           40 mg/day
  • Sertraline HCL (Zoloft)  200 mg/day

I will keep a journal of my experience through this process.
